I’m a self-taught oil painter living in Maple Ridge, BC. I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember; as a kid, I would bring my brushes and paints with me on family boating trips so I could paint the landscape (in between jumping off the swim grid and watching kingfishers dive through binoculars).

After graduating with a BA in English and spending a decade in marketing, I returned to painting in 2022. What began as a creative outlet soon became a turning point, a way of slowing down, releasing pressure, and choosing a softer way to live. That shift also shaped my art.

Today, my paintings are rooted in my experiences of the West Coast: childhood adventures on the water, forest walks close to home, and quiet moments of rest beneath shifting skies. Through layered oils, I capture the stillness and solace of these places, offering a gentle reminder to pause and reconnect with the landscapes that bring you peace. People often say my work is “soft,” “romantic,” and “peaceful.”

My work has found homes in private collections across BC, and I continue to paint both in my studio and “en plein air,” capturing the subtle shifts of light and atmosphere that make each place feel alive.
