ABOUT THE WORK
I decided to name this collection The Quiet Path, after the first small painting I created in this style (and that’s titled with the same name). To me, it represents choosing to go in a different direction than I had been, and finding a style that reflects who I am, how I like to paint, and how I want to live.

There’s a tension in these pieces that feels true to my life. It isn’t always quiet or peaceful, though sometimes it is (and I wish it always was). But they are all soft, and they are all about returning to that quiet. Allowing myself the space for it. I hope they do the same for you.
